My friend Maurice "Duck" Norwood was one who I wouldn't have expected to leave us so soon. I visited him at Sinai Hospital shortly before his death. I was nearly brought to tears seeing the condition he was in and finding out from his daughter that the hospital staff was merely making him comfortable. Maurice was a good man, a funny man, and a smart man, I will truly miss him!

I too visited "Duck" at the hospital. It was one of the most heart-wrenching times I've ever encountered. He was my friend for over 50 years and I still think of him almost daily. There are days when I say to myself, Duck would've loved this or what would he do in this situation? RIP Cuz, rest in peace. Greg Simmons 1965'
