Survived by loving wife of over 67 years, Esther; sons, Erling (fiancee Lisa) and Mark (Lori); grandchildren, Torun (Joel), Solve, Mark Jr. (Chelsea) and Ashley (Clint); great-grandchildren, Jayden and Shion; brother, Egil Smedvig of Seattle, WA; nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and Bethlehem Church family. WWII Veteran with the Army Air Corps. Received the King Olav medal. Longest living member of Torske Klubben. Past president of several business and community boards. Member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church since 1950. Memorials preferred to Bethlehem Lutheran Church Foundation or Torske Klubben Scholarship Fund. Memorial service Tuesday, 8/24/10 at 11 AM with visitation Monday 8/23/10, 6-8 PM and one hour prior to service all at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 4100 Lyndale Ave S, Mpls.
