About	Allyn passed away on March 16, 2023, after having suffered a severe stroke. He is now with the One he loved more than anything else, Jesus! He leaves his wife of 53 years, Janis Sharpe Brotherton, his daughter, Ileana Brotherton Fortune, his son, Caleb Brotherton and 5 grandchildren, each of whom he loved dearly! Allyn and Jan had moved from Marysville, WA., to Six Mile, SC in August of 2022. He enjoyed being connected to his friends from Ballard High, and from Mattress Firm, where he had worked for the past 24 years. He and Jan had ,moved to Marysville, WA in 2008,and then in August of 2022 they had moved with their daughter's family to South Carolina. His family miss him and the sweet smile he gave everyone he met! He is forever in our hearts and in our minds, especially when playing a game of ROOK!
Events	A small service was held for Allyn in Six Mile, SC at the Gap Hill Church of God at the end of March. The family traveled back to Washington in October. 2023 for a larger gathering with Ally's family and all our friends and loved ones there.
