BREZA, Constance Mary "Connie" 57, of Wheeling, died Wednesday, December 16, 2009 in Liza's Place Care Center South, Wheeling.
Connie was born January 9, 1952 in East Cleveland, Ohio. She was employed by Ohio County Schools as a speech pathologist and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Connie was responsible for the development of the Communications Disorders Program at Wheeling Park High School; served on the Ohio County Democratic Executive Committee; a member of Ohio County Education Association; former committee legislative chair of the West Virginia Speech and Hearing Association; and was a former American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Seal for the State of West Virginia, participated in the Easter Seals Ride with Pride.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary Narvin; and her adoptive parents, George and Ann Breza.
She is survived by a sister, Polly Rutledge and her husband, Robert of Peninsula, Ohio; a brother, Eugene Breza of Tanner, W.Va.; a sister-in-law, Linda Jones of Tanner, W.Va.; a niece, Teri Mae Rutledge of Oakland, Calif.; and two nephews, Edward Rutledge of Boston, Mass. and Sun Breza of Savannah, Ga.
