Steve Boehm
Class of 1987
Army, 18 Years
I am a Chief Warrant Officer 3 in the Army flying the AH-64D Longbow Apache and I'm a Maintenance Test Pilot. I am part of the 4th Infantry Division's Combat Aviation Brigade from Fort Hood Texas. I've flown over 600 combat hours in Iraq and will probably add another 500 this tour. We operate in the Baghdad area and provide a quick response to any and all threats to our ground units. It's true this is my third time in Iraq, but fourth deployment overall counting Desert Storm. I'm married with two kids. My wife's name is Lynne, we met in flight school and got married. She flew UH-60 Blackhawks and RC-12 fixed-wing. She was a Captain and when we decided to have kids she got out. Our son Sam was born in 2003 while I was in Iraq for the first time. Our daughter Kate was the post deployment gift after my second trip to Iraq. She was born 9 months to the day after I got home. We'll see what happens upon my return this time.
