Phil passed from this earth to be with our Lord and Savior on December 1st of 2025. He is survived by June, his wife, two daughters and son.
Phil and I knew each other from early childhood. Phil's career was the fire service. From our early days, I knew he would make it his career, and he achieved greatness in leadership across our nation.
Phil served as Assistant Fire Chief in Chico and in Boise, Idaho. And later, Chief in Springfield, Missouri, Little Rock Arkansas and ultimately in Warrensburg, Missouri.
Phil and I kept in touch through the years, even to talking several weeks before his passing.
Rest in Peace, my friend.
