Alumni Stories
reginald bones
Class of 1984
Passionate about pulling the best out of people and organizations, he delivers his motivating presentations to businesses, sales teams and educational institutions.
After graduating high school (Baker County High School) he attended college at Illinois Central College, there he studied Theatre with a major in Police Science. Following his graduation he attended University of North Florida (Army Reserved Officer Training Corps).
Following college he spent 8 years in the US Army as a Reconnaissance Specialist, here he served in Operation Desert Storm. Serving his country allowed him to display his pride and to protect that which most take for granted.
Reginald worked as a Police Officer and Detective for over 10 years. While working as a Police Officer he served in many capacities, he spent 5 years as a Motorcycle Officer, Burglary Task Force, Organized Crime Division, Mounted (Horse) Certified, Patrol Division and the Traffic Division. While in the Motor Unit, he had the privilege of escorting three of our past Presidents (Clinton, Gore and Bush).
Reginald is currently employed by a Security Systems Company, working as a Customer Relations and Quality Assurance Manager, in which he has been employed for 4 years. Prior to that, he spent 6 years in retail management; which allowed him to manage a large volume of men’s garments and personnel.
Reginald has also coached high school football and mentored many young men for many years. This by far is his greatest love, mentoring our youth on and off the football field, teaching them discipline, character, teamwork, life skills and even how to dress for success.
Through his journey and travels he overcame many obstacles, experiences and many different people. But through these people and experiences a greater knowledge was obtained. His diverse past has placed him in a category that holds great wealth of knowledge.
