Class of 1970
Air Force, 20+ Years
Seven years and eight months active duty Air Forcce followed on by 15 years and 7 months full time Air National Guard. Joined the Air Force July 1979 andI was stationed at RAF Upper Heyford, England from 1980 - 82 and Eglin AFB, FL from 1982 - 87. Joined the Battle Creek Air National Guard Base, MI in 1987 and retired in 2002 as a Master Sergeant E-7.
I started off my Air Force career as a Crew Chief on the F-111E Fighter Bomber and later on I was assigned as the NCOIC of the -21 Equipment Section. During my Air National Guard career I worked Phase Docks and later on I worked in the Repair & Reclamation Shop.

Navy, 20+ Years
US Navy, 20 years. Stationed in Guam, South Carolina and Virginia, where we retired.
Fought in Afghanastan, Desert Storm, Desert Shield.
Won 5 medals of Good Conduct, 3 Navy Medal of Achievements, 1 Meritorious award, SouthEast Asia Medal, Expert Pistol and Rifle, National Defense Medal, and others.
Won Sailor of the Year 1990 for the entire Navy,
served aboard the USS Proteus, Holland, Shenandoah, LY Spear, and at SBU 20 special warfare.
I retired in 2005, March 17th, Disabled and am currently fighting Washington DC for FULL disability, and am lifetime member of VFW and the American Legion.
