Army, 20+ Years
Commissioned Second Lieutenant , Infantry Oregon State University 5 June 1961 Entered Active Duty 13 April 1962, Ft. Benning, GA Served 2 years active duty and 26 years in Army Reserve until 17 July 1989. Graduated Infantry Officer Basic Course 12 June 1962 ; Infantry Officer Advanced Course 4 March 1969 ; Command and General Staff College, with Honors ,12 Nov 1976. Command and General Staff College instructor 1977-1980. Awarded Meriterious Service Medal. Member of All Army and All Army Reserve Rifle Team for 25 years. Retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
