Navy, 22 Years
Retired as a Senior Chief Radioman in 1984. Stationed in Naples Italy, seven ships from an LST to an AIRCRAFT CARRIER. Received Navy Commendation Medal, Combat Action ribbon, Navy Achievement Medal with combat V, 4 Good Conduct Medals, Meritorious Service, Unit Commendation,
all the Vietnam Campaign ribbons, and many more. Also rode two old Navy destroyers, Nuclear Guided Missile Cruiser, two destroyers tenders. Won two Navy League Awards.

Enlisted in the Navy Reserves in December 1970 during my senior year, and entered on active duty aboard the USS Robert K Huntington DD781 on 15 December 1971 and was released to reserve duty on 31 August 1973 and was discharged from the Navy Reserve on 14 December 1978.
I enlisted in the Ohio Air National Guard and served with the 179 TAG until I was discharged on 14 December of 1984.
I enlisted in the Ohio Army National Guard and served with the 26th ENG Co, 107 ACR until I retired in 1992.
