Dwight worked as a Grocery Store Clerk. He has a son Boshawn Keith Thomas of Seymour, Missouri. Maternal Grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Oliver Letterman of Mountain Grove, Missouri. Dwight's survived by 2 Sisters: Mrs Annabelle Walker, Mrs. Connie Sue Osburn, and 2 Brothers: Howard Lee Thomas and Jerry Dean Thomas.

Services will be Saturday July 19, 1975, at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava, Missouri, with Rev. Lawrence Applegate and music by Barbara and Vernie Harford, buried at Stillings Cemetery in Douglas County Missouri. Pall Bearers: Lonnie Atchinson, Ronnie Thomas, Chester Thomas, Dennis Walker, Oliver Ray Adamson and David Stillings.
