Roger C. Lightly, age 50, of St. Charles, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, at his home.
He was born Nov. 25, 1951, in Austin to Herbert and Helen (Toyne) Lightly. He grew up on the family farm near Oakland and attended grade school in Oakland and later in Austin. He was a 1970 graduate of Austin High School and continued his education at St. Cloud Vocational Technical School.
Since September 1991 he had been a machinist at Strongwell Corporation in Chatfield.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Jason Hogle, Buffalo; two grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce Roberts, Austin; Jean and Roger Camerer, Bloomington; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Paul Lightly.
