David Loeding was born Nov. 7, 1954, and passed away in Hilo, Hawaii, on May 21, 2016.
David Loeding graduated from Austin Central High School in 1973. He was an accomplished cellist and gymnast and was inducted into the athletic hall of fame for Austin High in 2011. He lived in Korea for many years where he taught english at the University of Seoul and played cello for the Korean symphony. He settled in Hilo Hawaii when he returned to the states where he lived with his daughter, Jinju.

Dave and I sat next to each other in Orchestra as He sat second chair Cello and I sat second chair for viola's. He made my laugh everyday and I filled in a couple of times as a manager for the men's gymnastic's team. He was a great guy, talented and funny. You are missed!
