David is the son of Roy Francis Thompson and Alice June Thompson. He was born in Austin MN on June 10,1952. He graduated from Austin High School class of 1970. He married Cathy McKinney and they had one daughter Sanna Thompson Stancel. His siblings are : Sandy Kramer, Kris landsman, Ronnie Thompson, Steven Thompson and Beverly Wacek.
