About	Jean Deike (McDonald) age 63 passed away on September 8,2015. She was born in Austin Minnesota to John and Bernice Deike on May 17, 1952. She is a 1970 graduate of Austin High School. She married Jack McDonal on September 1981 in Salt Lake Utah. After waging a courageous eight-month battle with oral cancer, Jean passed away September 8 while undergoing a chemotherapy port procedure at St Marks hospital. This, after having survived tongue reconstruction surgery and 30 rounds of radiation treatments earlier this year. The second onslaught of this most vile and evil disease, however, proved too much for her already weakened condition. Survived by her mother Bernice, her two brothers Dave & Bob, and Jack, her devoted grief stricken husband of 34 years, Jean's passing will sadden the hearts of her family, her dear friends, and the many people she worked with in the legal community for 40 years. Her legacy of charity, kindness, compassion and her sweet loving nature can reaffirm to all she left behind that humankind can still be virtuous and remarkable. In celebration of her life, a private gathering of dear friends and relatives will be held Friday, September 18 between 4 and 8 p.m.
