| About Me | I have been married to two wonderful men. My first husband, Rod, died in 2001 after battling leukemia. We were married 27 happy happy years. I have been married to Chad since 2005. He loved me back to life. I have two handsome, smart, kind, wonderful sons, Jeff and Jay, ages 34 and 31. They brought two fabulous women into my life as daughter in law, and almost daughter in law. I have a beautiful 14 year old grandaughter. I was ordained as an Episcopal deacon in 1995. I worked closely with seniors and children as a pastoral care minister. After my first husband died I began to see God in a different way. I have been on a spiritual quest ever since. I left the church in 2002. I moved to the Chicago area for a couple of years and worked as a long term care ombudsman for DuPage County . I worked for US West for 12 years and left in 1989. Since then, I have gotten as far away from corporate settings as possible. I worked for a family run hotel for three years.
