| About Me | As of date, I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Mark McIntire (‘89) for 29 years this coming 11-4-24, and date for well over 7 years prior. We have overall had a Blessed life thus far, and God has been steadfast and faithful my whole life. Not always an easy life I assure you, but a very richly Blessed life. We are proud parents to Jedediah Mark/24, Jack Kenneth/22, Joel King (and wife Darryn)/20, and Juliana Mae/18. Jedediah is employed at B & G Trucj Conversions. Argos and has owned a home in Cullver 3+ years; Jack a senior ag engineering student at Purdue University; Joel newly married and finishing Associates Degree Criminal Justice. Plans to go to police academy and most likely Elkhart County Police Department/living in Goshen buying home soon; Juliana senior Argos High School, pursuing Agricultural Education and likely a minor in undecided at this time . The boys graduated from AHS, and Juliana will graduate from there in May 2024. We are self employed x 3, and I work prn status as a medical social worker at St. Joseph VNA. I have worked most of my career in the medical field, and was very Blessed (and with sacrifice, primarily referring to hard working husband) to be able to be home with our four children for approximately 11.5 years before slowly beginning to substitute teach at Argos school and also subbed for few years or rather did a “tour of duty” at Plymouth school system-where the tail wags the dog. I still occasionally sub at Argos school and love it when I can! I earned an Associate Degree from Ancilla College after high school, then a Bachelor’s Degree from Valparaiso University in Social Work and a Master’s Degreebin Social Work from Indiana University, South Bend. The entire story of me and the college years is an amazing God-story and I am so grateful for it all, (considering I graduated in the bottom 3rd of our class and was told by our very kind and supportive, but equally inappropriate, pervie guidance counselor) that I was “not college material”. And at that time, he was probably right frankly. But God (and my determined, very dedicated mom) had other plans for my life and I just needed as whole lot of growth, confidence, and support to do it-and the Lord provided all.
