Louis Ruben Konijn was born on December 14, 1948. Louis left us to be with the Lord on August 9, 2018, at the age of 69. He graduated from Aragon High School in San Mateo, CA, in 1967. Louis worked at the Santa Clara Courthouse for 20 years. Louis married Laurel Jean Robinson in San Francisco, CA, on August 30, 1975. They had three children: William, Jeanne, and James. Louis met his wife Purita in 2006, and they got married in 2008. Louis fully embraced the Catholic Church in 2016. He was an inspiration to many.

A Rosary service was held at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2018, at St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Lakeport, CA. A memorial Mass was held at 9 a.m., followed by interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, and a reception at St. Mary Immaculate Hall. (Lake County News (CA) - Saturday, October 6, 2018)
