Favorite School Memory	Attending home economics, vocal music, and band classes. I loved to sew, sing, and march!
About Me	I was married to Larry Nelson for six years and we lived in Denison. I worked for Denison High School as the counselors' secretary. I also worked as secretary for the Denison Chamber of Commerce. In 1969 I decided to attend college in Maryville. I graduated in 1972 with a degree in Office Administration/Business Education. My husband, whom I met at Maryville, was transferred to Illinois. I completed my student teaching at Central High School in St. Joseph, Missouri and joined him in Joliet, Illinois where I worked as the Administrative Secretary to the Administrator of St. Joseph Hospital. We moved to Springfield, Missouri when our son was five and ready to begin Kindergarten. I completed my MS in Education in 1975 and my MBA in 1985. I spent thirty-one years teaching high school in Strafford, Missouri.
