I joined the Marine Corps on jan 24th 2005. My first duty station was in okinawa, japan whilei wasin okinawa I went on many ship rides to different countries for training. I traveled to guam, thialand, phillippines, korea, australia and indonesia. I even went to mount suribachi and stood there they raised out flag, i even have my dog tag wrapped around one of the crosses they have. After my 2 years in okinawa i was stationed at camp lejeune, nc where i spent my last 2 years! i did many training exercises then on feb 14th I landed on kandahar airfield in afghanistan. i spent 8months fighting which will be something that i will never forget for the rest of my life. It makes you feel how lucky you are to get back on that plane to come back home, you think to yourself "i did it, i survived"

Our Apple Valley High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Apple Valley High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated.
