About Me	college: studied sciences and later went back to study theater, studied belly dance, flamenco, african and indian forms of dance, toured as a solo dancer for world funk band, Catawampus Universe, danced and toured with Orchestra Gaandarva: an east meets west music and dance project, continue to dance and focus on middle eastern style dances and fusion, started a music and dance performance company named Rakadu Gypsy, opened a dance studio and performance art gallery named Mecca, teach belly dance workshops in other cities, guest artist for the School for Creative and Performing Arts, organize community events for the city of Lexington such as an annual Mardi Gras parade and an annual Halloween recreation of Michael Jackson's Thriller, work with at risk kids and adults considered to have disabilitie...(read more)
