| About Me | Worked in public education in Texas for 33 years as a teacher and librarian. Married twice. Second one took. Been married 25 years, no children. Met my second husband at The Italian Inn Restaurant, in Ft. Worth; I was a singing waitress and he was the pianist. (That was during a "detour" in my life.) And I manage 6 chronic illness and am a 6-yr. breast cancer survivor. Professionally, the highlight of my career was being asked to speak at the American Library Association Convention in Chicago in 1990. I now am the "volunteered" librarian at Grace Presbyterian Church in Arlington where my husband is the Music Director/pianist. My current project is an All-Church Cookbook.
