Danny Monroe Willis was born May 5, 1948 in Dallas, Paulding County Georgia. His father died in 1956 and his mother, Essie Mae Willis, moved the family to Jacksonville where she lived until she died in 1998. Danny joined the army after graduation and died on November 2,1974 as a Military Police Sergeant in an automobile accident in West Germany. He is buried in the Smyrna Methodist Church Cemetery in Paulding County Georgia
