About Me	I have done many things in my life, a few of which I served in the Aviation Dept of the US Navy, completed my Masters degree in psychology minor in forensics. I spent some enjoyable time riding horses on one of the duty stations I was assigned to. I have been married to a wonderful man for 21 years. I have 5 beautiful children and 3 beautiful step-children though I really hate the term step. Unfortunately my health had taken a severe turn for the worse about 6 years ago. I suffer unimaginable pain every single day from a rare disease. It is so rare that only a small handful of doctors know of it. It has left me confined to a wheelchair. As active as I was in my youth, it has been difficult for me to be so confined. I try real hard to not let it get me down. I have a disease, I am not defined by the disease. I will crochet blankets, make different types of quilts to donate to those in need, and I’ll make clothes for my children and grandchildren. It drives me a little crazy not being able to just get and go. We love playing games as a family but as my children are all teenagers and older, these days they just hibernate in their rooms. At this point I have only two children under the age of 18, however, they all live with us still. Two of our older children had a difficult time out there so they had to come back home, with one of them bringing a husband and a daughter and now less than 48 hours ago has given birth to another daughter.
