AHS WINS $50,000 FROM VERIZON!

AHS wants its alumni to know that we won $50,000 from Verizon! If you helped by texting or emailing a vote, we thank you from the depths of our heart! We couldn't have done it without you. Stay tuned for more on our website!

This money will be used for KAPUT (Kids and Parents United Together) for lock-ins, pre- and post-prom, and other wonderful ideas yet to come in. All the money will (and must) be spent directly on students. $50,000 is a significant amount and Alpena High School will take great care in monitoring its disbursement.
