Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

I couldn't find any link for listing info about "missing" rings, so I'm putting it here, hoping someone will read it, and put up a link for posting info on "Lost Rings", in addition to "Found Rings". My High School Senior class ring was stolen from my parent's home in 1969. I think a man named Joe Bill Turner was arrested for the burglary, but my ring never turned up. It had JDG III engraved inside. It was a 1967 AHS senior ring, gold with blue stone. A few years later, my college senior ring was also stolen from my parent's home. Someone saw it at a pawn shop in McKinney, and we called the McKinney Police. The pawn shop said they would turn it over to the police the next day. Amazingly, they claimed they were burlarized that very night, and of all things, my ring was one of the items stolen! I never believed the story they told. It was a gold and black Texas Tech University 1973 class ring, with a diamond on top, and JDG III engraved inside. It would be a miracle if someone found one of those rings for me! Jon Goodman
