It is always interesting to hear what other class mates have done in the last 40 years since graduating. i joined the Air Force 31 may 72 and had a great time and met alot of people, while in I was stationed at Lackland AFB,TX 31 May 72 for basic, Lowry AFB, CO tech school 13 jul 72--28 Oct 72 for weapons mechanic, Cannon AFB, NM 15 Nov 72--28 Apr 74,1st
duty base RAF Bentwaters/RAF Woodbridge 2 Jun 74--2 Jun 76, Avino AB Italy, Aug/Sep 75, temp duty. Discharged 2 Jun 76 as a Sgt, E-4 at McQuire AFB, NJ. I was a number two man on my crew, I took care of the cockpit switches and checked the forms before we loaded the aircraft. In NM I worked on F-111D, In England F-4C/D aircraft. I took some college course while in England, going to night classes. 12 hour certificate in law enforcement and 24 certificate in criminal justice. In NM I had a semester of English,History and Art
When I got out I worked at Logan's College book store with my brother Jay. In January 1977, I moved to Iowa and work at a grocery chain called Hy-Vee Food Store. I also worked at Sears Southdridge, In Des Moines Iowa from Jan 77 to Dec 77, I am still currently at Hy-Vee with 38 years. I also own a Locksmith shop, which I started in 1979 and still going.
Married, two girls, one boy, 7 grandkids and 1 great grand child.
