Robert W. Enzenauer, MD, MPH, MBA & Brig. Gen, CO Army National Guard
Class of 1971
On July 10, 2010 at a ceremony held in Watkins, Colorado, Dr. Robert (Bob) W. Enzenauer, Affton High School Class of 1971, was promoted to Brigadier General of the Colorado Army National Guard, Assistant Adjutant General for Space and Missile Defense.
After leaving the hallowed halls of Affton High, Bob went on to graduate from the United States Military Academy at West Point and medical school. He adds this recent promotion to his extensive list of academic and professional achievements: MD, MPH, CPE, and currently chief of ophthalmology at The Children's Hospital in Denver, CO.
Previously, he was professor of ophthalmology at University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, TN. Before that, from 1998-2005, he was associate professor and professor of ophthalmology at UT College of Medicine, Chattanooga Unit. He earned his CPE from ACPE in 2001.
Bob is married and has two children, daughter Kate and son Will. They currently live in a suburb of Denver.
