Favorite School Memory	Cutting class on my 18th birthday with my friends and going to a restaurant, where my friends surprised me and had the staff sing "Happy Birthday" to me in Spanish.
About Me	I spent 3 1/2 years at LCCC, where I graduated with an associates in Journalism. I went to Cleveland State, where I became sports editor of the student newspaper, The Cauldron, for two school years. I left school in 1999 when The Morning Journal (where I had worked since Aug. 1994) offered me a full-time position in the sports department. I've been there ever since. I'm engaged to Kelly Kidder (Elyria, Class of 93), who I've been with for over four years. We had lived in Amherst before a house fire caused by a grill explosion caused us to temporarly move back in with my father. I was burnt on 23 percent of my body and spent 17 days in the hospital, but I'm close to making a full recovery. I have three nephews and two nieces. No children for me.
