Technical Sergeant Dennis L. Bubla, son of the late PFC Charles Carl Bubla and Evelyn Lorraine Streeter Bubla Lumby, rural Wisconsin, 1981 graduate from Adams-Friendship Area High School, retired effective August 1, 2001 from the United States Air Forces after serving over 20 years in the US Air Force. TSgt Bubla entered the United States Air Force for active duty in July 1981. Upon completion of basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, he began technical training as a Law Enforcement Specialist at the USAF Security Police Academy. His first duty assignment was with the 37th Air Base Squadron-Security Police, Wheeler AFB, HI, where he performed duties as an Installation Entry Controller, Desk Sergeant, and Law Enforcement Staff Manager. TSgt Bubla remained at Wheeler AFB until 1985 when he was reassigned to the 6570th Security Police Squadron, Brooks AFB, TX, as the unit Training Manager. In December 1990, TSgt Bubla was transferred to the 24th Security Police Squadron 24th Wing, 24th Group, US Southcom, in support of Operation Just Cause, to Howard AFB, Republic of Panama, where he performed duties as a Police Patrolman; Standardization Evaluation Manager, and Reports & Analysis Manager. In 1994, TSgt Bubla was reassigned to the 37th Security Forces Squadron, Lackland AFB, TX. While there, he performed duties as a Police Patrolman; Flight Sergeant; Reports & Analysis Manager; Noncommissioned Officer in Charge, San Antonio Armed Forces Police Department; and Noncommissioned Officer in Charge, Information Assurance and Network Security. In March 1997, he received an associate degree in Police Sciences from the Community College of the Air Force, Montgomery AFB, AL. In March 2001, TSgt Bubla graduated Magna Cum Laude, receiving a double Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems and Management from Park University, Parkville, MO in 2001. In 2012, he graduated with distinction from Grantham University, Kansas City, KS with an MS in Information Technology Management. He currently attends Grantham University seeking an MS in Project Management, projected to graduate in 2015. He is a US Government employee. He is certified via COMPTIA Security Plus, ISACA CRISC, Air Force Level 1 Cyber Security, and in e-Commerce Commission for C|CISO. TSgt Bubla’s decorations include the Air Force Commendation Medal with four bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with four bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with one silver and one bronze Oak Leaf Cluster, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Overseas Long Tour Ribbon with one bronze Oak Leaf Cluster, Air Force Longevity Service Medal with one silver Oak Leaf Cluster, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Military Education Ribbon with one bronze Oak Leaf Cluster, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, United States Air Force Basic Military Training Honor Graduate Ribbon, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon with one bronze star, and the Air Force Training Ribbon. TSgt Bubla is the recipient of a Senior Airman Below the Zone promotion in 1983, the Air Force Systems Command Outstanding Security Police Noncommissioned Officer of the Year and Air Force Systems Command Training Manager of the Year, both in 1989, Air Forces Panama Noncommissioned Officer of the Year in 1992, the 37th Training Wing Military Family of the Year and Park University Pinnacle Honor Society Award, both in 1997, Distinguished Honor Graduate (Magna Cum Laude) from Park University, Parkville, MO in March 2001, Distinguished Honor Graduate (Summa Cum Laude) from Grantham University, Kansas City, KS on July 24, 2012. TSgt Bubla has three children; Josué Isaac Bubla, Jacob Isai Bubla, and Francisco Emanuel Bubla. The family lives in Texas.

Served as a Cavalry Scout (19D), Senior Drill Sergeant, Air Assualt Instructor, Sniper and Platoon Sergeant and attended many other specialty schools. SFC Lee was injured in Iraq in May 2004 and medically retired in August 2007.
