About Me	Served three years in the US -Army, Oct. 1961 to Oct. 1964., Maintaining the electronic communication and navigation systems in the armies rotary and fixed wing aircraft in Europe. After receiving my discharge I started work for AT&T Southern Bell in Augusta. Married Mireille in 1965 and had son Richard in 1966. Spent six years working throughout Georgia and Florida; then when Richard became of school age we Transferred from Southern Bell to C&P Telephone of Virginia ( A Bell Atlantic Company) and settled down in Orange, In October 1971 our second son, Christopher, was born. On December 26, 1992 I retired from C&P Engineering Department and on January 4, 1993 I started work for Bell Atlantic Professional Services in Honolulu Hawaii. Mireille and I spent 1993 there and 5 months on the Island of Hawaii (Big Island) in 1995. Since that time we have spent time working in Montana, Colorado, Washington State and tours in Poland, 18Months, Germany, 24 months and three summers in Alaska. During this time Richard graduated from Virginia Tech and is employed as a Design Engineer and Project Manager for a Cavalier Fire Protection in Northern Virginia. He is a single father and has custody of his twelve year old daughter. We take care of Casey during the week after school. Christopher attended several colleges before receiving his degree; including Clemson and NC State. Christopher is currently serving in the US Navy as a Nuclear Propulsion Officer aboard their newest Carrier, the George H.W. Bush; stationed in Norfolk Virginia. Chris has custody of his three children and they live with us. Mireille takes care of them while I work on various Government Projects. His son Corey (18) will be attending Bridgewater College this fall. Daughter Courtney (15) is a rising Sophomore in Orange High School and learning how to drive.
