Favorite School Memory	The school. Tony Markert and the administration. Mr. Markert found the loan that paid my first quarter at Ga. Tech. I dare say that changed my life. Thanks Mr. Markert. The excellent teachers. My standouts are Miss Braddy, Miss Otwell, and Mr. Bolton. Setting: Miss Braddy's English Class (5th period I think). Mr. Markert (the principal) comes on the PA system(ancient system of communication between groups of Cro-Magnons and their Neanderthal superiors) and asks if Tommy Mobley is in today. When he learns Tommy is in, he asks for Tommy to be sent to the office. Tommy returns in 10 or 20 minutes (OK I don't really remember) and takes his seat. Miss Braddy absolutely CANNOT continue class for 5 more minutes (that I DO remember). Miss Braddy: Mobley I can't stand it. I HAVE to know why Mr. Markert called you to the office. Mobley, with absolutely no hesitation and just as straight-faced as you can deliver it: He's considering making some changes to the English Dept and he wanted my opinion.
