About	AUGUSTA, Ga.- Mr. Michael W. Jones, of Augusta, entered into rest on Monday, August 2, 2004, at University Hospital. A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 5, 2004 at 11 a.m. in Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Gerald Varner officiating. Survivors include a daughter, Kelley Jones of Lakemont, Ga.; two sons, Kennon Jones and Matthew Jones both of Lakemont; a sister, Pamela Ann Jones of Augusta; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles Clark Jones and Sandra of Augusta; a special friend, Elizabeth Markwalter of Augusta; two aunts, Mrs. William W. Jones of Augusta, and Mrs. Ann Scott of Largo, Fla. and a number of cousins. A native of Augusta, Mr. Jones was the owner of Michael's Restaurant and a veteran of the Army National Guard. He was a member of the Exchange Club of Augusta, Augusta Golf Association and the Augusta Country Club. Active pallbearers will be David Fletcher, Butch Folk, Bobby Lee, Woody Hughes, Bo Smith, Hap Harris, Billy Badger and Porter Adams and are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Thursday. Honorary pallbearers will be the Augusta Exchange Club and the Augusta Golf Association and are asked to assemble at the graveside by 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. If so desired, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice or Augusta Exchange Club Charity Fund, P.O. Box 3884, Augusta, Ga. 30904 or Michael Jones Memorial Fund in Honor of his Children at Rabun Gap - Nacoochee School, 339 Nacoochee Dr., Rabun-Gap, Ga. 30568..
