About	Mitch was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on Saturday, June 13,1953, to Dewaine and Alita (Martens) Stichler.He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1971. During his high school days Mitch played in several sports including wrestling, football and track. Mitch was the president of his senior class at Lincoln Christian University, Lincoln, Ill.,where he graduated with his Bachelor's in 1975. He earned his Master's at Cincinnati Christian University in 1991. Mitch was a member of Kingdom Builders,served several churches throughout Indiana and was in charge of the children's program at North American Christian Convention. He was also involved in state conventions and church groups. He was quite a history buff, especially the history of George Armstrong Custer and he enjoyed Iowa Football. He is survived by his daughters, Farah Mahoney (Rob), Middlebury, Ind.; mother, Alita (Martens) Stichler,Council Bluffs, Iowa; sister,Shawni Atherton(Matt), Council Bluffs, Iowa; brothers, Greg Stichler(Caryn),Elkhorn Neb. and Brent Stichler (Ann), Council Bluffs, Iowa.;several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Mitch was preceded in death by his father, Dewaine Stichler and brother,Trevor Stichler.
