Football field receives new name
At the last ths board meeting, the alumni assoc. presented a request to name the football field at Trinity High School after long time coach and team Dr., Mike Polka. Dr. Polka passed away this spring and was a long time supporter of Trinity Football. The request was unaminously passed and we hope to dedicate the field at this years homecomming game on Oct. 22. The hall of fame dinner will be the following night.
Alumni Golf Tourney
The 2010 Alumni Golf Tournament will be held on July 31 and is open to everyone, not just alumni. The purpose of this event is to raise monies to help support the athletic program at Trinty High School. As you are probably aware, the Board of Trustees are on the verge of eliminating all athletics at our beloved Trinity. You can help be attending alumni events or by donating to the ThS Alumni Assoc. currently you may sent a self addressed envelope to ths alumni box 3263 weaverville 96093 and we will send you a criteria list and nomination form for next years class.. once a player or individual is nominated he/she will stay in the data base for further consideration if not chosen. nominations will close at the beginning of february. our induction will be the night after homecoming 2010.

Hall of Fame
The hall of fame dinner was a great success with about 220 in attendance. Many of the recipients were re-aquainted with friends of years past and present. Awards were presented and greatly appreciated by the redipients. Fun was had by all.

Correction/Clarification
The recent list of hall of fame inductees as posted on July 6 is actually the 1955 and 1958 football season teams. The committee inadvertantly mention the graduating class for those particular teams. The 1955 (season) team was undefeated and ranked No. 1 in Calif. The 1958 (season) was 8-1 and sent several players to an all-star game held in arcata. We apologize for any confusion.

Hall of fame
The first annual red and white hall of fame dinner and golf tournament has been rescheduled to oct 17, 2009 to coincide with homecomming which was recently changed to Oct 16. List of inductees for the first hall of fame will be announced at the Alumni day in Lowden park on July 4 of this year.
Again, this event is being organized by Trinity High Alumni. All monies raised will go to an alumni scholorship and to help support activities at the high school. your support is needed. All donations can be made to Trinity Alumni Assoc. % Trinity High School, box 1227, Weaverville, Ca. 96093.
List of inductees will be posted on this site and the trinity High school site after July 4.
