I left Eastern for college in 1970, never dreaming that college and graduated fro Colorado State University with highest honors and a fellowship to graduate school. Being married and having three children on the way, I completed my PhD. in Human Environmental Studies emphasizing counseling and research from Oklahoma State. I spent my career teaching college classes and practicing counseling with troubled children. In 2000 Cambridge University named my to their top 2,000 professionals of the 20th century. I have since retired and written books and aritcles, but wanted to thank Mr. Hudson, my high school counselor who, in 1970, encouraged me to go to college in spite of the tough life I had had as a child. His help encouraged me to help many other challened children. Thank you
