I am a full time technician at Kirtland AFB and have participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) twice so far. I have done many of the N. and S. no fly zone ops and participated in Operation Decisive Guard/Edge (Italy) I.Y.A.A.Y.A.S.

Enlisted in US Army in 1970. After Advanced Infantry and Airborne training was assigned to 173rd Airborne Brigade, Viet Nam. Then assigned to a counterterrorismunit unit under HQ USAREUR in Heidelberg, Germany. Transferrred to Reserves and returned to college. Commissioned an officer in the USAF in 1980 and assigned as a Special Agent with the Air Force Offiuce of Special Investigations. Specialized in counter intelligence/terrorism and assignments were primarily overseas seat-of government working with foreign counterparts. Supported Desert Shield/Storm. Transferred to the Reserves where I continue to serve.

I also developed programs to obtain data from the mainframe and generate specific reports for commanders so they could see if the training was consistent for all instructor pilots. I loved my time in the Air Force and I am glad that I served this country.
