Ricky Lee Espinosa, 54, of Zion, Illinois peacefully passed away in his sleep on Friday, December 15, 2017 at home.
Ricky was born April 13, 1963, in Zion, Illinois. Ricky attended Zion-Benton Township High School. He worked as a laborer for many different trades. Ricky was a nomadic soul that found joy and solace in spending time with his siblings and many nieces and nephews. He loved his young great nieces and nephews too. He would always give them treats or spending money along with giving them unique nicknames. He loved to cook, especially on the grill. He was a fun jokester, kind, helpful and loving individual. Ricky had a unique impact on everyone and will be forever remembered, loved and missed.
Survivors include his mother, Christina O. Espinosa of Zion; Two brothers, Steve Espinosa and Johnny Espinosa, both of Zion, IL and six sisters; Rosie Espinosa of Waukegan, IL; Susie Nunn of Zion, IL; Christine (Horacio) Alaniz of McAllen, TX; Sophie Espinosa of Chicago, IL; Alice (Arturo) Bahena of Zion, IL and Lisa (Jaime) Olivarez of Waukegan, IL. Also surviving are his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins
He was preceded in death by his father, Esteban Espinosa; sister, Yolanda Espinosa; brother, Larry Espinosa; brother-in-law, Harold Nunn and sister-in-law, Gail Espinosa
