In Memory of

Mary June Corder, 81, a lifelong resident of Zion, died on Friday, July 18, 2008, at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan after a brief illness. Mary was born June 1, 1927, in Zion, and graduated from Zion-Benton Township High School in 1945. She married Robert H. Corder on October 17, 1946 in Zion. Mary was a member of Christ Community Church in Zion. She had worked as a bookkeeper for several businesses until she retired. Survivors include son, Robert R. (Charlene) Corder of Rockford, IL; daughter, Constance Corder of Zion; and grandson, Robert T. (Daniela) Corder of Libertyville, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Corder in 1999; and father and mother, Raymond and Dollie DePew.
