In Memory of

Dawn R. Anderson 53, of Zion, IL passed away on November 22, 2009. Dawn was born in Kenosha, WI in 1956. She was a lifelong resident of Zion. Dawn graduated in 1974 from Zion-Benton Township High School. She married Dale Anderson in 1975 at Christian Catholic Church in Zion, Dawn was an extremely creative artist and taught pre-school at the Zion Park District for many years. She loved her family, flower gardening, boating, roller-skating and traveling. Dawn was a beloved wife, mother, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed. She is survived by her husband of 34 years Dale Anderson: two sons Clint Anderson of Zion, IL, Chad Anderson of Los Angeles California formerly of Zion; one sister Lori (Tony) Batalla of Zion; two brothers, Cliff (Sophia) Mitchell of Antioch, IL and Michael Mitchell of Alabama; numerous nieces and nephews; and her bulldog "Whitney". She was preceded in death by her mother Joyce Mitchell.
