Events	Michael C. Ransom, age 69, devoted husband, father, "Papa", uncle, brother and friend passed away, October 18, 2016, surrounded by his family. Born March 31, 1947 in Waukegan, Illinois and most recently of Las Vegas, Nevada. Michael was a proud veteran of the United States Army serving in the Vietnam war, retired Waukegan, Illinois Police officer and employee of the Las Vegas Metro Police, Las Vegas, Nevada. He spent his last days surrounded by his loving family. Michael is survived by his wife of 46 years, Wini; their two daughters; Rocelyn (Robert Marbury) and Michelle; granddaughters, Alexis and Alyssa, grandsons, Brenden, Quincy, Quadre and Quinton; all of Las Vegas. He is also survived by three brothers; Ronald (Sharon), Las Vegas, NV, Victor (Cynthia), Beach Park, Il, Dennis, Las Vegas, NV, and one sister; Paula, Las Vegas, NV. Services will be private
