Events	Donna A. Ficke, 62, passed away on October 21, 2021. She was born in Indio, California on October 24, 1958, the daughter of Louvella (nee: Cox) Ficke and the late Roy George Ficke. Donna retired after 41 years of service to TWA, Northwest, and Delta airlines. She began with TWA in Seattle and soon moved to become a dispatcher in Minneapolis, where she spent 25 years with TWA/Northwest. She was pleased to return home to the Chicago area and finish her career in the Northwest/Delta Cargo/Freight operations at O’Hare. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and embroidery. She loved spending time with family and was passionate about preserving family heritage and history. She will be lovingly remembered as a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, with a generous and playful spirit. She delighted in the opportunity to take family and friends along on travels around the world, thanks to the perks of working for an airline, which created many memories to last a lifetime. Donna is survived by her mother, Louvella Ficke of Wadsworth, IL; her brothers Jim (Mary) Ficke of Waukesha, WI, and George (Susie) Ficke of Medina, OH; brother-in-law Cal Richter; niece and nephews Maria (Chris) Vandenberg, Barry (Nicole) Richter, David (Esther) Ficke, Nathan Richter, and Jonathan (Deanna) Ficke. She will be dearly missed by her grand nieces and nephews Grace, Ryan, Sarah, James, Alexia, Roslynn, Thomas, Rylann, and Lucy, as well as her Uncle Brenton Cox, and cousins Debbie (Bill), Jeannette (Brian), Bobby (Patty), Mike (Danette), Lauri, Bert, Greg (Celine), Mike (Vivian), Cathy (Mike), Karen (Mark), Cheryl, Ronnie (Cathy), Lorna, Gary (Kath), Sheila and Sherry.
