Events	Donald A. Noren, 79, of Zion, IL died on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan, IL. Don was born December 10, 1937 in Waukegan and was a lifelong resident of Zion. He graduated from Zion-Benton Township High School in 1955. On September 16, 1961 he married Lynn D. Rider at Memorial United Methodist Church in Zion and remained members of the Church where Don was a lay member of the Annual Conference for over 40 years. Don retired from Zion State Bank in 1999 after 38 years. He served his country with the 85th Division Army Reserves where he played in the band, and he played in the Zion Concert Band for years. Don was passionate about music, religious studies, and was a member of numerous civic organizations throughout his life, most recently as an election Judge. Survivors include his wife Lynn D. Noren; children Gloria (Tom) Kaye of Green Bay, WI, and John Larsson of Perth, Australia; grandchildren Gregory (Ellen) Kaye of Plover, WI, and Alex Larsson and Daniel Larsson both of Perth, Australia; great-grandchildren Charles and Cooper Kaye of Plover, WI; one sister Beverly Ann Noren (and the late Robert) Marsh of Madison, WI; and one nephew James Marsh. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Walter and Myrtle Noren.
