In Memory of

Mearle Dutton, 89, of Kenosha, WI, formerly of Winthrop Harbor, IL, passed away on May 8, 2024, at Ridgewood Care Center. Mearle was born on January 10, 1935 in Kenosha, WI and married Daniel Dutton on May 3, 1952 in Zion, IL. She was part of the graduating class of 1953 at Zion Benton High School. Mearle worked alongside her husband Dan Dutton at BFI, Sports World and Dutton Builders in Winthrop Harbor. Mearle had a deep love for her family and God, which tied to her passion for collecting frogs because of the Christian acronym for FROG- “Fully Rely on God”. Survivors include; sons Paul (Liz) Dutton of Kenosha, WI, Gary (Jennifer) Dutton of Humbird, WI, and Mark (Vicki) Dutton of Pleasant Prairie, WI; grandchildren, Dana Hollister, Lyndsay (Blake) Nahf, Whitney (Matthew) Weber, Carl (Emily) Crowder, Joshua (Jamie) Dutton, Jacob (Sarah) Dutton, Ashley Dutton and Courtney Dutton; 22 great grandchildren; dear family friends, Danny Booth and Paul Seday and other family. Mearle was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Mearle Pontillo, brothers Louis & Reggy Pontillo, her loving husband Dan Dutton, and her great grandchilden
