John "Jack" Hatcher, 74, of Mesa, AZ formerly of Winthrop Harbor, IL passed away surrounded by his loved ones on March 21, 2025.
Jack was born on January 20, 1951 in Waukegan, IL the son of Jess and Gloria (Pastel) Hatcher. Jack graduated from Zion Benton High School class of 1969, after graduating he worked in HVAC in Illinois and then IMCOR, located in Arizona. Jack loved fishing, playing softball, going to concerts and listening to music. He especially loved his Harley Davidson motorcycles, he had various motorcycles over the years, but his favorite was a custom red lowboy with flames. He also loved watching the Chicago Bear football, Cubs, and spending time with family and friends.
Jack is survived by his wife, Karla Hatcher; children, Tracey Hatcher (Jeff Buttera), Josh (Erica) Hatcher, Skyler Bergman, and Hunter Amundson; grandchildren, Trista Pyle, Illessia Hatcher, Joshua Hatcher Jr., Linken, and Emmaline; mother, Gloria Smith; in-laws, Dan and Gayler Bergman; sister Linda Taylor; niece, Shera (Chuck) Smith; and several nieces, nephews, and cousin; two dogs, Ruby, and Rosie.
He was preceded in death by his father Jess Hatcher.
