Mary Holenski Grigas passed away at home surrounded by family on January 24, 2025.
Mary was born December 14, 1927. She graduated from Zion Benton Township High school class of 1946. She married Edward Grigas on April 18, 1953. Mary and Edward traveled all over the U.S. thanks to Edward being in the Navy. After Edward left the Navy, they settled down back in Zion where they stayed since 1964. She had been a devoted member of Christ Community Church in Zion for most of her life. Mary was a simple woman, and she didn't need much to enjoy life to the fullest. She had a strong love for her family, pets, and flowers, and couldn't have asked for anything more.
Mary is survived by her children, Michael Grigas, Stephen (Denise) Grigas, and Donna Sedar; grandchildren, Brent Grigas, Lane Grigas, Rick Sedar, Nicholas Sedar, Jackie Sedar; great grandchildren, Cameron, Connor, Shiloh, and sister, Anne Palmer.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Stepan and Pologia Holenski; husband, Edward Grigas, and sister, Elizabeth Dusek
