About	Gary K. Streckert, 50, died Tuesday (July 30, 2002) at Glenbrook Hospital, Glenview, Ill. Born June 15, 1952, in Evanston, Ill, he was the son of Carl and Gertrude Streck-ert. On July 19, 1973, he married Patricia A. Miller in Zion, Ill. In the early 1970s he served in the U.S. Marines. He was employed as a truck driver for Prairie Concrete, Glenview, Ill. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Pleasant Prairie. Survivors include his wife; a son Kevin M. of Zion; a daughter, Jennifer J. (Michael R.) Hackbarth of Milwaukee; his mother of Zion; a brother Craig of Waukegan, Ill.; and a sister, Diane B. Strangberg of Kenosha. His father preceded him in death. Congdon Funeral Home, Zion, IIl., is serving the family.
