Gary K. Streckert, 50, died Tuesday (July 30, 2002) at Glenbrook Hospital, Glenview, Ill.
Born June 15, 1952, in Evanston, Ill, he was the son of Carl and Gertrude Streck-ert.
On July 19, 1973, he married Patricia
A. Miller in Zion, Ill.
In the early 1970s he served in the U.S.
Marines.
He was employed as a truck driver for Prairie Concrete, Glenview, Ill.
He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Pleasant Prairie.
Survivors include his wife; a son Kevin M. of Zion; a daughter, Jennifer J.
(Michael R.) Hackbarth of Milwaukee; his mother of Zion; a brother Craig of Waukegan, Ill.; and a sister, Diane B.
Strangberg of Kenosha.
His father preceded him in death.
Congdon Funeral Home, Zion, IIl., is serving the family.
