About	David Milligan, age 62, of Wadsworth, IL, formerly of Zion, IL, passed away on January 9, 2022 at his home. He is survived by his wife of 31 years Anna Milligan. They were married on September 22, 1990 at St. Patrick’s Church in Wadsworth. David was born on January 2, 1960 in Zion. He graduated from Zion Benton High School, class of 1978. After high school, he worked as a carpenter and later worked at the Zion Nuclear Plant. He was in the Labor Union for over 20 years. He worked on sewer & water with Herkey and Campanella & Sons. He was a former member of the Zion-Benton Moose Lodge 667. David enjoyed spending time with his family and building projects with Matt. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He liked watching golf, football, and hockey. David also enjoyed riding motorcycles and drinking beer with friends. He leant a helping hand to anyone who needed it. In addition to his wife Anna, he is survived by his son Matthew (Aubrey Cooper) Milligan; daughters, Jody (Jay) Eymer and Julia (Ryan Glogovsky) Milligan; granddaughter, Zoey Lynn Morrison; grandpuppies, Bee, Ranger, Frankie, and Rosie; aunts, Geraldine Hardin and Jan Treadway; uncle, Dennis; cousins, Denise (Lee) Brown, Teresa (James) Engle, and Norman (Becky) Hardin. He is preceded in death by his parents Golda and Denis Morrison; father, Bobby Milligan; and his uncles, Kenneth Treadway and Forest Treadway. Visitation and Service will be on Saturday, January 15 at Gurnee Salata Funeral Home, 4190 Old Grand Ave, Gurnee, IL. Visitation begins at 1PM. Service begins at 3PM. Interment will take place privately at later time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Newport Township Fire Department or the Zion Police Department.
