Glenn H. Jackson, 85, of Zanesville, died at 8:45 pm Monday, November 17, 1997, at his residence.
Born September 28, 1912, in Dunkirk, Indiana, he was a service and tire manager for Morris and Snyder; retiring in 1977. He was a member of Central Trinity United Methodist Church and the Senior Bowling League at Sunrise Lanes.
Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and Bruce Ziemer of Zanesville, and Jane and Paul Law of Zanesville, one sister Wilda Moore of Bend, Oregon; a very special and caring friend, Nevada Fluhart of Roseville; four grandchildren; Kathie and Tim Holman of Zanesville, Douglas and Cori Barnes of Plantation, Florida; Brian and Kelly Law of Cincinnati; and Mark Law of Columbus; two step grandchildren, Rick Ziemer of Zanesville, and Randy and Diane Ziemer of Zanesville; seven great-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert D. and Gertrude Bechhdolt Jackson; his wife, Virginia Garner Jackson, who passed on March 8, 1982; and one sister Garnet Finney.
Burial will be in Memorial Park.
