About William A. Agin, 68, of Zanesville, died at 11am Saturday, October 12, 1996, at Bethesda Hospital.

Born February 27, 1928, in Zanesville, he was a member of Euclid Avenue United Methodist Church. Mr. Agin was the M.I.S. Director at Cardinal Health-Bailey Division for 34 years and served as President of the Zanesville Kiwanis Club (1989-1990). He was a Navy veteran of World War II (Seaman 2nd class) and an Army veteran of the Korean War (Cpl T).

Surviving are his wife, Frances Helmick Agin, whom he married March 1, 1968; two daughters, Joni Arnold of Marietta and Cynthia Haines of Winchester, VA; three sons, Mark Kennedy of Zanesville, William Agin (ZHS class of 1974) of Diamond Springs, CA, and Terry Agin (ZHS class of 1977) of Pismo Beach, CA; and five brothers, Clayton Agin of White Cottage, Ernest Agin of Richmond, VA, LeRoy Agin of Hopewell, Bernard Okey Agin of Zanesville, and Robert Agin of Seneca PA, and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John James and Sarah E. Harper Agin; his first wife, Peggy Harris Agin; one sister, Delores Agin and one brother, James Lester Agin.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Monday, October 14, 1996 at Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave.

Sevices will be at 10am Tuesday, October 15, 1996, at the funeral home with Pastor Donald Ricker and the Rev. John Bray officiating. Burial will be in Zanesville Memorial Park.
